Machame Gate → Machame Camp

Machame Camp → Shira Camp 2

Climb out of the forest into moorland on the way to Shira 2, around 3,850 m. Allow roughly 5–6 hours for 5 km, with views towards Kibo and Meru when clear. Camp overnight with all three meals listed.
